Bollington
Festival
Photography
Group is
just over
one year
old now.
We were
formed in
2007 with
three aims:-
• to photograph
the life
and locations
of Bollington
• to set
photographic
challenges
• to stage
an exhibition
of photographs
at the next
Bollington
Festival.
Our first
major
Exhibition
is being
held at
the Methodist
Church
in Wellington
Road from
May 8th
to the
24th.
Opening
times
are:-
Wednesdays
and Fridays:-
2pm to
9pm
Saturdays
10am to
5pm
Sunday
24th 2pm
to 4pm
Admission
is free
but donations
to Church
funds
would
be appreciated.
Most
of the
images
will be
for sale.
Again
a percentage
of these
sales
will be
donated
to the
Methodist
Church
funds.
As well
as “photos
in frames”
several
of the
group
members
are preparing
personal
projects
that we
they have
been working
on. These
range
from photo
books
to web
cam footage.
Even I
don’t
know all
that is
being
prepared.
